This piece has taken me the longest time and patience amongst every artistic endeavor I have ever embarked upon. I have stated this before in other art descriptions, but I have VERY little patience in general. I have various diagnosis in the mental department by professionals to explain and describe my physically painful reaction to taking my time and not impulsively ravaging through things, but for this piece I made a startling exception. I made a conscious choice and pure commitment to take my damn time. Like, a lot of time. Over the course of a couple of weeks I would sit down for at least a few hours and painstakingly draw these incredibly detailed and delicate lines. I didn't know where it would take me or if I would even survive without thrashing my way all over the page in anger, but I made it. The result was something that really makes me think how I did this. Almost as if it didn't come from me. Every time I look at it, I feel like someone else did this drawing. I used my rapidograph pen and Prismacolor markers.
